FightAIDS@home

From the FightAIDS@home website:

FightAIDS@home is the first biomedical distributed computing project ever launched. It is run by the Olson Laboratory at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California. We provide free software that you download and install. The software uses your computer's idle cycles to assist fundamental research in discovering new drugs, building on our growing knowledge of the structural biology of AIDS.

We can assure you there are no negative side effects to running FightAIDS@home. It will not use your computer's resources while you are using it. It will not make your PC vulnerable to spyware and viruses. It does not use much memory or hard drive space. It will contribute to finding a cure to AIDS, at no cost to you.
